Uptime optimization

Every model slug maps to one or more upstream providers. When a provider errors, times out, or rate-limits, the gateway retries the same request against another healthy provider for that model.

What you control

Use provider routing preferences to pin or exclude providers, and model fallbacks to degrade across models. Failed upstream attempts are never billed to you.
