How billing works

Per-token deduction
Input and output tokens are priced separately per model. Cached input is billed at the discounted rate where the provider supports it.
No charge for failures
Upstream errors and timeouts are retried automatically; failed generations are never billed.
Balance and invoices
Real-time balance, per-key usage and downloadable invoices live in the console.
Price changes
When upstream list prices move, the models page updates. The price you see is the price you pay.
